About us
Our Mission
Welcome to Westview Lacrosse!
Our mission is to provide a competitive, fun, safe and positive learning experience for the fastest growing sport in the country. We look forward to teaching the game to new and experienced players alike, creating a very competitive program, and to building a strong volunteer parent group to ensure the best lacrosse experience possible.
Westview Lacrosse is an equal opportunity sport that operates without discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or national origin. Our Club strictly prohibits any coach, staff member, volunteer, parent or athlete from engaging in any form of discrimination or harassment that affects other coaches, volunteers, parents or athletes.
We compete in the Metro League conference. Lacrosse at Westview is a no-cut sport. Lacrosse is a Club sport and is managed by an Executive Board of parent volunteers.
Westview Lacrosse is no longer affiliated with the Beaverton School District; we are an independent "Club" organization that receives no funding, in-kind service or supervision from the Beaverton School District.
The Club requires all players to submit proof of a doctor's physical every two (2) years. All new players must submit proof of a physical to our Registrar and NOT to Westview High School. If a player has participated in a Fall/Winter sport at WHS, player must obtain a copy of that physical from the Athletic Office and submit to Club Registrar. Players whose physicals have expired will be notified by our Registrar and are required to submit a new physical prior to playing.
All players must meet Westview High School's academic standards in order to be eligible to play.
Players are recognized at an awards banquet and their photo will appear in the Yearbook.
