Come play lacrosse with us!
K-2 Saturday Sessions:
- All players must have a valid THPRD NUMBER to participate. See the THPRD page here for more info.
- Registration Fee: $60
- 6 Saturday sessions April-May.
- Please plan to have at least one parent or guardian stay onsite - all are absolutely encouraged to join in and have fun!
Please bring:
- Personal equipment if you have it
- Filled water bottle
- weather appropriate clothing
- the rest will be provided
3rd - 8th Grade Girls' and Boys' Spring Teams:
Registration remains open - beginners are welcome:
- Registration Fee: $180 until February 1st, then fee increases to $200**
- March-early June
- Skill building, team bonding, sportsmanship and fun.
- Practices Tues/Thurs/Fri**
- Games on Saturdays around the Portland Metro area**
- Some teams have one or two tournaments over weekends towards the end of the season.
- All registered players are welcome and encouraged to attend our Saturday Skills Sessions (see K-5 above) as they fit around your game schedules! Come get to know the high school coaches and players while gaining more skills and/or mentoring newer players!
Requirements:
- Active US Lacrosse Membership is required for league play (the registration system will confirm membership status). https://www.usalacrosse.com/
- Required Forms are available during registration.
- Parents will coordinate transportation to practices & games for their player.
Equipment for league play - girls:
- Lacrosse Stick
- Fitted mouthguard
- Goggles (ASTM Standard, F3077-17)
- Cleats suitable fro both artificial and natural grass fields (lacrosse or soccer will work)
- Game day jerseys will be provided and returned at the end of the season
Equipment for league play - boys:
- Shoulder pads that meet the NOCSAE ND200 standard.
- Fitted mouth guard
- Elbow/arm pads
- Lacrosse gloves
- Regulation lacrosse stick
- Field cleats suitable for both artificial and natural grass fields.
- Athletic cup
- Navy shorts mid length for game days
- Game day jerseys will be provided and returned at the end of the season.
*Reach out if you need help with loaner equipment.
*No player will be turned away due to lack of financial resources. Please reach out to registrar@westviewyouthlacross.com for information about scholarships.

Registration insurance is available during the check out process of registration.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Financial assistance is primarily provided through THPRD. For more information click:

Residents whose income falls near or below federal poverty guidelines are eligible to receive up to $300 annually in THPRD scholarships per person in the household. The first step is to fill out the application from THPRD. Please email registrar@westviewyouthlacrosse.com to coordinate this process.
